Scholarships
KTLA is committed to providing quality continuing legal education to all who meet registration requirements. Attorneys for whom the Annual Meeting Registration fee poses a significant financial barrier may send written requests for scholarship consideration to info@ktla.org by no later than November 19. The written request should include the scholarship amount requested and the portion of the fee the registrant is willing to pay, as well as a brief explanation of the basis for the request.
Eligibility Requirements
Due to the sensitive nature of the information provided in this seminar, any individual who is primarily engaged in the defense of tort litigation or defense of workers compensation claims is not eligible to register. Registration is open to any individual who is licensed to practice law in the State of Kansas or any other state; engaged in representing plaintiffs or claimants in civil litigation and workers compensation claims or defendants in criminal cases; and committed and devoted to the concept of a fair trial, the adversary system, and a just result for the injured, the accused, and those whose rights are jeopardized.
