On Friday, June 9, the Trial Tactics and Workers Compensation CLE Seminars will be held concurrently at the Courtyard by Marriott Wichita at Old Town, 820 East 2nd Street North, Wichita.  The morning CLE session will combine both programs for collaboration on issues affecting all trial lawyers.  In the afternoon, participants will split into two 4-hour sessions: Trial Tactics and Workers Compensation.  *The 4-hour afternoon Workers Compensation track is limited to members of the KTLA Workers Compensation Section only; KTLA members wishing to apply to the section can contact info@ksaj.org.

Due to the sensitive nature of the information provided in this seminar, any individual who is primarily engaged in the defense of tort litigation or defense of workers compensation claims is not eligible to register.  Registration for the Workers Compensation session is limited to current members of the KTLA Workers Compensation Section.  Registration for the combined and Trial Tactics sessions is open to any individual who is licensed to practice law in the State of Kansas or any other state; engaged in representing plaintiffs or claimants in civil litigation and workers compensation claims or defendants in criminal cases; and committed and devoted to the concept of a fair trial, the adversary system, and a just result for the injured, the accused, and those whose rights are jeopardized.

KTLA members and judges from across Kansas are encouraged to attend, with or without without conference registration (RSVP requested to info@ktla.org by June 1).

Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellations made by close of business May 26 will result in return of fees paid minus a $50 administrative fee.
  • Registrants who do not provide notification by May 26 and do not attend the program will not be granted a refund. In these instances, registrants may transfer their registration to another individual. Alternatively, CLE materials may be mailed to the registrant for a shipping and handling fee, but no CLE voucher will be provided.
