KTLA Speakers Bureau
The Public Affairs Committee seeks to help educate KTLA members, fellow trial lawyers, legislators and the public on the need for a strong civil justice system, an independent judiciary, and the difference that trial attorneys make by championing and supporting the rights of individual Kansans. Most recently, the Committee established a Speakers Bureau to connect with members of the public on the issues affecting the civil justice system today. The committee hopes that the message of these presentations will be insightful to the audience members on the need to preserve the independence of the judiciary and our right to a jury trial.
For more information on the Speakers Bureau, please contact KTLA staff at (785) 232-7756 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
Take Justice Back was launched by the American Association for Justice (AAJ), the national trial lawyers’ organization, to help educate the public about the erosion of the civil justice system. The Take Justice Back website features a briefing on civil justice issues, educational tools, blog postings and real life stories of the victims of so-called "tort reform." Read more about the people and issues affected by the attack on the civil justice system at www.takejusticeback.com.
